The Future of Ukraine and the EU: Highlights from the International Sustainability Forum 2024
The European-Ukrainian Council for Cooperation and Development joined discussions on green recovery and Ukraine’s integration into the EU at the International Sustainability Forum, held October 24-25 in Kyiv and The Hague. Organized by the Association for Sustainable Development and Ecology (ASDE) with partners from Ukraine and the EU, the event brought together business leaders, financial institutions, experts, and donor organizations to explore sustainable economic growth for Ukraine.
The forum covered essential topics:
- Ukraine’s EU accession and the requirements for ecologically sustainable economic development.
- The role of donors during the war and post-war recovery.
- Resilient infrastructure: innovations in energy security and water management.
- Human capital development for economic recovery, among others.
This forum provided a platform for direct dialogue and exchange of ideas among international partners, strengthening collective efforts toward a safe and economically sustainable future for Ukraine.
