Regional Development Forum Lviv
On December 14, the Regional Development Forum Lviv was held in Lviv with the support of the Lviv Regional Development Agency, Lviv Regional Military Administration and Lviv Regional Council.
The forum became a platform for open dialogue between all stakeholders involved in the development and implementation of state regional policy, for mutual understanding and #cooperation in the context of European integration processes in the following areas
- European integration tools for regionaldevelopment;
- strengthening the capacity of local institutions;
- the impact of European integration processes on the Ukrainian business environment.
The forum was attended by representatives of the EU in Ukraine, international non-governmental organizations, the Office of the President of Ukraine, Верховна Рада України , the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, local executive authorities and local self-government bodies, regional development agencies, civil society organizations and business communities.
Taras Holub, Advisor to the Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine, took part in the forum in a panel discussion on “International business support programs – drivers of economic development”
The forum was also attended by UN Resident Coordinator in Ukraine Denise Brown.
