Odesa Region Recovery Forum ”Strategic horizon and harmonization of processes”
On November 28, Odesa hosted the Odesa Region Recovery Forum, organized by the Regional Development Agency of Odesa Region, the Regional Office for International Cooperationi in Odesa Region, the Odesa Regional State Administration and the Odesa Regional Council.
Focus discussions at the forum:
– From Planning to Rebuilding: Next Steps in the Recovery Process, followed by discussions on the practical implementation of the recovery plan and development strategy.
– Presentation of the regional development strategy: how to effectively align strategic goals with local and budget programs, ensure better implementation of the strategy and optimize budget expenditures.
– Odesa region as a region of capable communities: increasing the economic capacity of communities, ensuring unity and cohesion in communities.
Taras Holub, Advisor to the Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine, spoke about the role of EU-Funding, the initiative to unite agencies, and how Ukraine is being helped by the Ukraine Facility.
