“New horizons for EUCCD: cooperation with ALDA and donor organizations”

The EUCCD team took part in the Assembly of Ukrainian ALDA members in Kyiv. The head of the organization Serhii Pryshchepa, held talks with the General Secretary of ALDA Antonella Valmorbida, regarding the possibility of our organization joining the European association. We are pleased to announce that we have received full support from ALDA and have already begun active preparations for admission!

European Association for Local Democracy ALDA specializes in supporting local democracy, active citizenship and cooperation between local authorities and civil organizations. The association unites 350 members from 45 countries, working to strengthen democracy and citizenship.

Also, during the Assembly, we held constructive talks with representatives of several international donor organizations. We discussed the possibilities of attracting funding for our two important projects aimed at digitalization and support of Ukrainians in the world. The negotiations laid the foundation for further cooperation, which opens up new perspectives for the implementation of the strategic directions of the European-Ukrainian Council for Cooperation and Development.

Joining ALDA opens up new opportunities for cooperation at the European level, sharing experience in the reconstruction of Ukraine, attracting additional resources for sustainable development projects and active participation in international programs for the reconstruction of Ukraine.
